The Air Conditioner (AC) Remote control mobile app of Hitachi Home & Life Solutions (I) Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as HHLI) provides monitoring and remote control capabilities for air conditioning systems. With this app user can control the ACs at their residence or office remotely from other locations. The app is compatible for iOS smartphones and gets connected with the AC via two options – using Direct Mode (Access Point) or Wi-Fi Router (Internet). The app allows user to set different timers to control temperature and power consumption, clean the filters and notify user to contact service person in case of software or hardware sensor failure and use sensors like defrost sensor, room sensor, fan sensor. The app falls under the ‘Internet of Things’ as it supports activities like sensing, telemetry and remote control.
